mrc, Fabulous! You get the site's grand prize for winning the tri. And I think we're in elite company here with at least four of us having had War Emblem in the Derby. My wife was a bit ticked off at me for having the winning tri numbers on my exacta ticket, but I never entertained the notion of playing the tri. She growled at me again a few minutes ago when I told her you pulled it off. -g- Yeah, I read the Beyer article. It's essentially what I've been doing for years off and on when I had the time. Yesterday my figures came up with Table Limit surprisingly slightly superior than War Emblem's. Whoops! And I had Magic Weisner in the third and fourth slots from two slightly different methods. I think the Belmont might shape up as the toughest for War Emblem. For the first time in his last few races, several horses were running faster than him at the end, with Magic chewing up the distance separating them. And yeah, one couldn't have asked for a better ride from Espinoza. Again, way to go! R
