Well on this thread there are several who are experts in posting 100% substantiated crap and I think you have found the instructor in chief. And Mike, there is the OS for the stupid people and the OS for those who are smarter and can make more with less. The world if full of really dumb folks. Being smart is much rarer. But it's now at the point where megacomputing PC's are so cheap that even dog OSes from msft perform as nice as linux on a 486. By the way 256 dimms are real cheap right now.
