SiS to sample Clawhammer chipset in July

General availability from SiS is usually 2-3 months after sampling, at the soonest.

...The SIS 755 K8 North Bridge map for AMD supports AGP 8X and will sample in July, while in Q4 of this year its other K8 chipset the 760, which also supports AGP 8X and Ultra 256 graphics, should be ready to go...

Dear Dan:

You forgot to mention that there are 4 DIMMs in those 16 slots (2 for each CPU). I think that dual channel DDR is confirmed on those Opterons (probably DCSC). Since 2GB DIMMS are beginning to be sampled, this MB could support 32GB of memory, far more than any current Intel MB for x86 CPUs. And it has 4 DDR channels with at least 10.7GB/sec of bandwidth and this is ONLY a DUAL Opteron! Both IA-64 and NW MBs must be severely shaking in their boots, as a prelude to their running away for the exit screaming their CPUs off when it is available for purchase.
