If I may I'd like to add some points for you to pick apart. May nothing, I'll just do it. Lets say there were some warnings about hijacking air liners by OBL in July or August. I bet some idiot has planned a hijacking every day for the last 50 years. When was the last hijacking of an American plane? I can't remember. Our gun and bomb prevention efforts have been very effective over the years. Now who would have thought a plane could be hijacked with box cutters before 9/11? Wouldn't happen now. But lets say that Bush was told that ME terrorists would take over 4 planes with box cutters and he tightened security like it is now. And 9/11 didn't happen. Talk about wolves at the door. God only knows how many hijackings didn't happen with our old security. Now lets say he got a full warning and not the no specifics warning he got, and airport security started screening Arab Males. We've had two embassies, USS Cole, Pentagon and the WTC and we still can't profile male Arabs. Gotta be PC. Off I go on a tangent here. Don't profile. Causes hardship to the profilees. I don't know if you were in the army but if one guy in Echo company screws up the whole company pays. Same thing would work with any group. You pay for another's mistake you straighten him out. Finally. At last. There were 48 ME males taking flying lessons. 28 did nothing. 19 did. One was arrested for breaking the law. 47 never broke the law until 19 hijacked the planes. Perfectly legal until they hijacked the planes. 28 never committed any crime. No take off or landings, they could have been training for a second seat in a second rate airline.
