Yes, the data is correct but the dates don't filter correctly so you just have to pay attention to the date. In other words, 1980 dates could be on top and 2002 in the middle but the data married to each line IS for that date so if that line is May 17th, then all data to the right is May 17 data.

I have all the data running on a MySQL database which wants dates in a YYYY/MM/DD format. Nothing else in the galaxy runs on that format so my "Dates" are loaded as VARCHAR and thus they don't sort correctly always. The data matches the rows all the way across so the date that is shown on the left is the date for all data to the right.

I am working on the problem but other than hand jamming 29000 lines of data I havent found a solution yet. Even Excel won't auto format it for me so I can push up a column of true MySQL formatted dates to sort by.

I hope to get this resolved in the few weeks but for now this was the fastest and most effecient way of moving all the COT data to a server and then being able to display the results quickly to anyone that wanted to see it. I hope to get a graphical interface built in the future also that will automatically make charts of the info and some other stuff. Unfortunately I move in the next couple months so time is short for these projects.

Al the data is correct but not always in chronological order. There is a Canadian Dollar one I think that likes to put 1998 first for some reason and then bury 2002 stuff in the middle. Heck if I know why? -ggg-

EDIT - While playing around with the sorting problem I did discover something pretty cool. It keyed on the first number instead of the year at the end and was stacking all the January dates together since 86 then all the february dates together etc. Could come in handy someday if I get the chart program running so one could ask for that option then overlay all the years and look for seasonal trends.

Good Luck,

Lee
