Thanks for the dissenting opinion. It should be pointed out that the column you posted does not reflect the editorial viewpoint of the Hartford newspaper. The author of the piece, Laurence D. Cohen, "is a senior fellow at the Yankee Institute for Public Policy in Hartford and a public-relations consultant. His column appears every Sunday and every other Thursday." If you look at his other writings, it appears that he's the hired voice from the right at this newspaper. By the way, have you seen any polling just in Connecticut on the Stanley move? I'd be interested to know what the public's take on this is.
