Week Ahead
The Conference Board's Leading Economic Indicators at 10:00A on Monday. Assembled from data already known, the markets may nevertheless react. The Treasury will also be on the docket Monday to announce, among other items, the extent of the decline in tax collections during the April period.

Nothing out of the ordinary, until, on Thursday at 8:30A, the advanced report on orders for durable goods is released. An economist at Salomon Smith Barney is forecasting a rather fantastic 9 percent increase over the March figure. Anything can happen, I suppose.

Friday has a revision to Q1 GDP which many say will be higher, and New Home Sales.

A relatively slow week.
