I vaguely remember those titles, but I've not read either book. I have Mr. Spooner's "Do You Want to Make Money or Would Your Rather Fool Around?", Adams Media Corp., Holbrook, MA. Published in 2000, it still should be available in bookstores. This is a book I can recommend. Mr. Spooner shares his experiences of over 30 years in managing money (and dealing with clients). Other books by Mr. Spooner include, "Confessions of a Stockbroker" and "Smart People".
