It seemed like a very good episode in that it dealt with his death and spoke of the universal issues of communication between family and friends. Not letting things that really should be said to them left unsaid.

And the temporal nature of our lives was demonstrated.
This focus on the fleeting nature of life, which is always revealed to the Conscious among us by a death in the circle of family and friends, often acts as a catalyst to evaluate if we're making the right choices in our lives.

OK, that's my best guess as to what you mean, or more aptly that was what I thought I saw, but sometimes I'm just not that sure. :-)
