Yes. And if Leiberman and Bush wanted to express a bi-partisan concept (which Leiberman does not), they could easily express their disappointment about this on the same day-possibly even jointly.

Such a statement might help Islam wake up before they turn around in a few years and find an entire world trying to destroy them. The Palastinians have shown what happens to a population that tolerates it's own terrorism. The Israeli's will probably have to have their boot on the Palastinians' neck for another generation...

My current prediction, BTW is that Bush will move swiftly on Iraq using both Russian-based facilities and bases in Kuwait. The Russians will probably also provide troops and planes, along with the British. Once these arrangements are made behind the scenes, quiet pressure will be applied to Turkey, who will also cooperate. The operation will involve several weeks of bombing, followed by an occupation of Iraq by the combined forces. These forces will be kept strong enough threaten Iran and Syria. Failure of Iran to adapt will most likely result in an invasion by the Russians-with our assistance.
