Several decades ago I was a broker with a research "boutique" on WS, back in the days of the Nifty Fifty. They loved those then as much as they loved the current crop a year or so ago, in particular Polaroid at any price under $100. They finally threw in the towel at $20 and said to avoid it. Thereafter the stock did fall to $15, bottomed and had a double from there. The point is that we are probably close in time but maybe not in price to a bottom. BTW the firm I was with was acquired by MER a few years later.
