OLDTRADER, when you ask, "What percent of the past five years earnings is that?", you have to remember that "reported earnings" is an accounting fiction. Earnings last 12 months reported as $1.421 million. In the same period shareholders equity decreases by $2-1/4 billion. What is wrong with this picture? Should shareholders be upset that in one year 1/3 of their equity was transferred to insiders? How long can this go on before they express their outrage?
