Zeev,

someone commented on the new high list - as it is dominated by gold stocks, small financials, retailers, restaurants and the like, it hardly has any tech name in it, it may not be a good gauge of tech's turnaround.

any merit of this argument ?

Curious - I know you liked QCOM for "darksiders" and I also realize that when the market starts truely tanking, noone will be safe...with that in mind, would QCOM still be a favorite for ther dark side given their guidance affirmation?

>> However, the fact that new highs declined by a lot and new lows increased by a lot, and the preponderance of call buyers, indicates to me that tomorrow, after a "gap up", we may once more go into the downtrend and into that 1650/96 gap from last week.

Some will interpret that as positive, "consolidation with lower volume",

What were going to get is consolidation on higher volume. With buyers sitting on their hands, it hard to tell how far market has to fall before buyers commit.
I would hate to think that they will not return in any great volume until "buyers are needed" during "agitate cycle" for pre June options expiration occur just like they did a week before May options expiration.
