but it was not the bombs which finally demoralised the people ... it was the Mustang fighters, which suddenly appeared low over the city, firing on everything that moved .... one section of the Mustangs concentrated on the river banks, where masses of bombed-out people had gathered. ... British prisoners who had been released from their burning camps were among the first to suffer the discomfort of machine-gunning attacks .... wherever columns of tramping people were marching in or out of the city they were pounced on by the fighters, and machine-gunned or raked with cannon fire."

Terror?

We've been there, done that.

tgptndr, chilling.....I had no idea it was that bad. The entire population must have been wiped out. Its brutal what we do to each other.

The worst part about it is I can see that under certain conditions, I would be capable of agreeing to having such a thing done.

is it just me who don't like to read neo nazi crap? The details would be send via private e-mail

The author come through as a neo nazi in his statements but to make it clear I would provide a direct explanation of who he is ( natall.ca ):

"Our world is hierarchical. Each of us is a member of the Aryan (or European) race, which, like the other races, developed its special characteristics over many thousands of years during which natural selection not only adapted it to its environment but also advanced it along its evolutionary path. Those races which evolved in the more demanding environment of the North, where surviving a winter required planning and self-discipline, advanced more rapidly in the development of the higher mental faculties -- including the abilities to conceptualize, to solve problems, to plan for the future, and to postpone gratification -- than those which remained in the relatively unvarying climate of the tropics"
