Corvis Operating Chief Terry Unter Steps Down COLUMBIA , Md. -(Dow Jones)- Corvis Corp. (NasdaqNM: CORV - News) 's Chief Operating Officer Dr. Terry Unter will step down May 31 to pursue other interests. In a press release Monday, Corvis said Unter, who has been with the telecom equipment-maker since 1998, will spend time with his family and on efforts involving a new ocean-racing sailboat. A Corvis spokeswoman wasn't immediately available to provide details on a possible replacement for Unter. Company Web site: corvis.com
