Huh, the Mrs. gave ALL her IRA money to a real nice big cap/small cap guy down at the credit union. And he guaranteed her a 12% anual return.

That was a while back.

I had a similear experience where I told a Money manager that IBM/FNM and GE were great shorts(about 40% higher except FNM). I droped her a note when IBM hit 80, down from 120, where I told her I was short.

JG, They won't remember a word of the conversation. The only reward to being right is to make money. <g> Actually, the REIT guy is probably doing ok. Real Estate and gold have been leading the US market. While the dollar collapses and small cap intl. stocks soar. But there is no inflation. These are just blips on the radar caused by flocks of geese, not warheads. <G>
