Nonetheless, Seymor was a great mind who took on the world and won for a time. AFAIK even the Japanese couldn't beat him at his prime. And I believe it was the lowly massively parallel computers which eventually made Crays costly. True, some new technology will eventually do Dirk in, but until then, right now he would be considered a good bet.
