The leak to CBS last Thursday was certainly something that she worked ceaselessly to prevent. Much as George Stephanopoulos used his role in the Clinton White House to bootstrap into a phat gig at ABC, Ms. Hughes will probably have already signed her contract with FoxNews Network.
