Indian troops have been given the green light for "limited punitive" action against targets inside Azad Kashmir, a leading defence analyst said on Tuesday.

"All indications are that the armed forces have been given the go-ahead for limited punitive action against terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)," said Sridhar (eds: one name), a senior defence expert who recently retired from the Insitute of Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA).

Founded by an act of parliament, the IDSA is an influential defence strategy think tank. "A limited military action looks inevitable but it has also been made clear to the forces that this is not a war against the Pakistan army but against terrorists in PoK," Sridhar told.

P.S. How limited it ids going to stay we all SHALL SEE AnD HOPE THAT IT REMIANS VERY LIMITED..in limited intrusions a lot of damage is possible to invaders and cleaners of the terrorists camps, that will ignite desire of more revenge and that will increase temptations of bigger theater, so help us God.. Pakistan will not be able to fight a long protracted war however a small war will be properly fought like Kargil was gallantly fought by Indians and freed only after 5th July agreement hammered by Clinton.
