Barrick is nothing like Enron. Your assertion they double count revenues or cook the books is foolish,...but then what do you say that isn't foolish.

Their so called cooking of the books as you now accuse them of, has resulted in a writedown in GAAP profit this quarter,...the opposite of what Enron was trying to do. And every hedged gold company I have reviewed so far is following the same off balance sheet procedure for their hedgebook. They have a choice using GAAP. Is Newmont trying to pull one over too?

You have no interest in accounting standards, or reality when it comes to Barrick. You refuse to read Barricks financial statements, so anyone willing to take your opinion on anything in them would have to be just as foolish as yourself. You are hear to spread false rumors about Barrick, that only other people who have not read Barrick's financial statements could believe.

Now I see you claim that JP Morgan Chase is Barrick's banker,...another crock. They are one of many financial institutions Barrick obtains services from.

Ken Benes is right. We will see what happens. If I am wrong, and Barricks hedges do blow up and force them into bankruptcy as you constantly assert, I will stop posting here. If you are wrong, hopefully you will do the honorable thing, and stop cluttering up this thread with your senseless drivel.
