If Ford's hedging programme can blow up, so can that Master of the Universe, Barrick's.

Frankly I agree. By $350 gold the loss on the off balance sheet hedges will be so large that the banks will be putting the squeeze on Barrick big time. Of course that will most likly be too late to do much about it if you are a Barrick shareholder.
