itsally, Actually, the deal was $45 million to New York and $55 million for all the other states. The Civil suits will be interesting. As our folks say, they can't sue you for being stupid. <g>

That thought occurred to me, too. Lots of state governments will have budget shortfalls, might be a good way to make it up (especially if NY was able to shake 'em down for 100 million...and they are only ONE brokerage!)
