That's a new one: "appease the terrorists by conducting an investigation"

Very creative.

Not relevant, of course, but creative.

Your concern for the victims is heartening, but many of them, too want an investigation. And certainly no one wants a repeat, or the kind of thing Rumsfeld is talking about today, to occur.

"Giving credance to conspiracies" is different than an investigation. It's more like "giving credance to incompetence, and finding ways to make America safe, instead of the ridiculous vulnerability provided by useless bureaucrats".

Of course, we could just go directly to martial law, and be safe that way -- what do you think of that?
