Yes it is, isn't it.

They will implode and end up having the same problems that AOL - T/W are having.

I can understand smaller companies merging or acquiring a complementary product or service to fill out their offering.

What is annoying is merging and acquiring for the sake of greed and to play "The Art of the Deal" game to satisfy those over-inflated egos - not to mention their personal bank accounts.

Everybody suffers because of these mega-deals. The customer loses. Why they bought the service or product in the first place is gone. Now they have to buy it because there's nothing else.

The shareholder because his/her stock is worth a third of what they paid for it - if they're LTBH.

The employees lose their jobs.

Vendors lose business

The only ones who make out are the top 20 senior managers.
