there sure are a bunch of different people making a bunch of warnings then WTF is Ridge's job, anyway? i have no doubt all these warnings are about CYA, but i fail to see how that helps the likes of you and me.

In the case of a nuclear attack in the US, every single person of middle eastern descent will be deported or put into internment camps. Period. After the 15th or 20th suicide bomber exploding in a mall or theatre in the US, every person who has ever lived a moment of their life in the middle east will be deported. There won't be any debating the issue, it will happen instantly. In the case of a nuke, even the ACLU won't say a word. We'll be lucky to avoid a police state for the rest of our lives if DC or manhattan gets nuked. VERY lucky. ----------------------- I been thinking, is it possible that besides the obvious CYA, the reason all these gov't dudes are making noise about an attack is to get the american public riled enough to support an all out assault over there by us, no bleeding heart bullshit opposing us in the homeland, just go over there and f*ck shit up like we know how?.... Bush may not be smart but throwing the first punch is usually better than getting hit and the deciding what to do if you still can. It's a big thing to do for us though, because then the suicide bombings WILL start here, and there may be some backlash about them maybe not bombing us if we had laid off them.
