That was exactly the purpose of my claim.

For some of my readers, I must look like a financial genius (picked Kinross at $1.50, Inmet at $2.00, Semafo at $0.25 - with your help if my memory is good -, High River Gold Mine at $0.25) but it was only good timing....

A FINANCIAL GENIUS IS A BULL MARKET (IN GOLD AND WHATEVER ELSE).

YOU GO, BOB! Fun post. That's why I like ole Prechter...at least he called $250 gold about 7 years prior to the $252 low....<grin>

Another beautiful example along the same lines as you posted is the old '87 sell-off prognosticators. There were only two that called it:...I believe one was the old grey head from KC that everyone likes to rag on and I can't remember his name, and the other was 'the Garz."...

But if you read C.V.'s today, no less than 35,000 analysts/money managers/hedge fund gurus claim to have gotten that one right.
