I thought that I heard a teaser from CNBC relating to this question, but they haven't said anything since. Maybe I got it confused with the Anthony@Pacific story re. his arrest together with two FBI agents who were working with him.

But.......

What would prevent someone from delivering counterfeit securities to cover a short?
