I followed the simple and easy to understand instructions, I filled out my ballot, and I looked over my ballot when I was done. I saw no BS "hanging chad" on my ballot, but if I had, I would have either corrected it or asked for a new ballot and had the faulty one destroyed, which you can do. I voted for George Bush. A while after that, Gore decided he was going to challenge the election results in a few counties in Florida. I figured he was out of his mind, but I decided to watch the circus. I was watching a live television feed from the recount of the recount. There were three people re-recounting ballots. The main guy was a Democrat (and a judge in Florida), the other guy was a Republican, and the third person was a Democrat named Suzanne Gunzberger. The judge looked very closely at a ballot that contained some sort of oddity; I don't know what it was because he didn't specifically mention it, and finally said "That is a vote for Gore." Then he handed it to the Republican guy, who looked at it for about 15 seconds (a long time) and said, "No vote." Then he handed it to Suzanne Gunzberger, who happened to be having a chat at that moment with somebody that was out of the camera's field of view. She took the ballot, and went back to her conversation with her friend off-camera. Then she stopped, looked over at the judge, and said "What did you say?" The judge said "vote for Gore" and Suzanne Gunzberger said immediately, "vote for Gore". She did not even bother to look at the ballot, she just placed it in a pile and went back to her conversation with her off-camera friend. I saw the crime on live television. I called my attorney and told him the story and asked if he would be willing to take it to court. He laughed. I said, "Yeah, that's what I thought, but I had to ask." From my personal experience, I can also say that every election I have ever voted in, and I vote in all of them, has been straight-up and correct from what I have personally seen at the polling places. If I saw anyone at a polling place that even appeared to possibly perhaps maybe want to think about trying to stop a voter from voting, I would personally call the cops immediately. In fact, I have seen many instances of workers at the polling places going out of their ways to make SURE that the voters got to submit their ballots. As anyone who has actually set foot in this state knows, there are literally millions of fossils here, who, God bless them, sometimes have trouble doing simple tasks like driving a car or paying for something at a store. Every time I have gone to a polling place, I've seen at least one example of some worker personally assisting somebody who had some sort of question or hassle with voting; without regard for race, creed, or party affiliation. It's always been very professional, non-biased, very friendly, very legal, and above-board, in my personal experience. You and I both know what's going on with this "voter fraud in Florida" crap, eh? It would be good for these boneheads to check out the dictionary and get straight on the words "ballot" and "vote".
