Agreed that Ridge's office is the place for it. It's the new kid on the block, thus unlikely to have evolved much in the way of interagency conflicts.

I've been wandering through references on fourth generational warfare. Very disappointed that my public library doesn't have any of the new books by Martin van Creveld. I just ordered The Transformation of War and The Rise and Decline of the State from amazon.com. However, it has pretty much everything by Robert Kaplan -- most of it is checked out already.

So people in the D.C. metro area are taking this stuff very seriously.

GMU is offering a number of classes on various aspects of terrorism this summer. I expect most of the local universities are doing the same.

One thing I'm coming to understand is how much this war is an infowar -- and I think we are not waging our side as effectively as the other side.

Makes you wonder if Ridge is doing all the leaking that makes is so apparent he should have greatly improved powers.
