Hi KLP, yup, it's pretty pathetic alright. So transparent anyone but a fool can see it. Scenario number 4 is happening right now. And the big liberal spokesperson (supposedly objective), Dan Rather is now leading the charge.

Funny, even my prediction of criticism from "hate Bush" posters on this thread is coming true.

It's just another political trial balloon to see if it will stick with the public. What they still haven't figured out is the public is not interested in partisan politial wars. They want political leaders to work together for the good of the nation. Things have changed since 9/11, and the Clintonized Democrat party is unable to change with them. The public knows these are not games to be played with in the political arena, but represent real threats to our safety and security as a nation.

That voter perception will translate at the polls this fall, and the Democrats are desperately trying to change it. They just don't know how.

If I were Bush I would just keep staying above the silly mudslinging fray, and let the Democrats shoot themselves in the foot over and over.
