Thiis article begs the question of my query. It is indeed hard to imagine another attack not happening . . . what I'm curious about and what I've yet to see addressed here and in the national media, is how will we respond to this attack?

We've marshalled significant resources to destroy the Taliban and Al Queda, and I'm not sure what more we could do to disrupt their activities.

Having given this a little thought, I'm afraid I could envision a scenario in which people of Middle Eastern extraction could possibly be interned (ala the Japanese in WWII). I could also envision us closing our borders to new immigrants from specific countries . . .as odious as both of these possible reactions are, I wonder what other steps we might consider/implement in order to protect ourselves?

Very difficult questions and decisions are on the horizon.
