i should add that a good deal of their frugality has been quickly unlearned by the genx crowd: no surprise there. And much of it owes to the fact that home ownership, second home ownership, and seriious recreation are not within reach of the vast majority: so if you already own the latest DVD player and small screen TV (g) what else can you buy? Moreover, everyone does know someone losing their job now, and that is a relatively new phenomena that is quite shocking to the public... all of this you already know i am sure. I remain convinced that if thye would open up thier borders toi imigration the nation would soar again: people are incredibly industrious and quality oriented: that is no myth.
