Big deal. Xeons can be wired up to each other directly with the FSB. And that's a lot easier to do than wiring up Hammers with HyperTransport.

Stop trying to pretend that you understand multiprocessor designs, when you are clearly ignorant of the whole process. It takes a hell of a lot more work than just stringing Hammer chips together and plugging them into a board design. Hypertransport allows a lot of logic to be done on the CPU, but it's not a complete solution.
