Ooops ! "until the WAR IS WON" You forgot. This war, according to the formulators, won't be over, for 10 years, or more. Anything of value produced by an independent investigation won't be available until after that. Meanwhile, we're sitting ducks, according to Rumsfeld yesterday, with the administration's current plans. I understand your concern. It may not be pretty. But, if there is an investigation it will have to proceed, if some of the Republicans want it. Why would there be Republicans who want it?
