I'm still holding shares and $20 Jan options...Haven't done anything recently and don't intend to until after q2 results are posted at which time I will re-evaluate...At some point in FY02, probably before q3 results and after q2 results, I plan to significantly add to my existing position...

I'm not big on covered positions despite the general consensus that such is the way to win at options...Nothing against it, just not my interest...I have my own model based on 20 plus years...long or short stock, owner of calls or puts...As I've said before, you only have to ride out an option position on the right side once to offset a whole lot of incorrect decisions...Why not just trade the stock rather than utilize covered options...Premiums on covered options unless one has a huge share base eat into too much of profits for it to make sense to me...How much did Elmer pay for his AMD shares on which he's writing covered calls??? no wonder, he's become an AMD bull...
