Thus, there's no need for further inquiry" It cracks me up the way the administration has gone into full-court press thinking they could derail an investigation. What do they think, Americans view 9/11 as a sideshow? Blithering idiots. Even Pearl Harbor had a commission, right away. They are clearly breathing too much of their own smoke, in that hermetically-sealed "undisclosed location". Not only is it a great insult, even without the media-managed escalation of scare-tactic headlines, it is also self-defeating, in the information age, to in any way attempt to conceal or deceive. It will catch up with you. Didn't they learn anything? Or are there people w/in the administration that think the media and American consciousness can be so carefully managed? I don't get it. They must think they know something the rest of us don't. Certainly one mistake is letting the suspicions grow for many months, before addressing the issues, maybe because somebody (Senior) is so excited ("we pulled that election off!"), or puts too much stock in opinion polls ("we've got the popularity of a dictator!"). If they have been arrogant, they need to check w. their Attorney General about the laws regarding that:"Pride goeth before a fall"
