The reason talk radio became so successful was because it was the only voice in the media which was conservative. The rise of talk radio owes it's allegiance to the leftists in television who insist on presenting one point of view. I'll give you two examples which clearly demonstrates the liberal bias of "Big Media". Global Warming. Global Warming has never been presented in a balanced way on television that I know of. It's always presented with a "when it's going to destroy us" not "if" point of view. Gun Control. Guns ownership is almost always presented in the news as a one sided issue. I've never seen a news event which has shown the use of a gun preventing a crime. Yet, we know it happens by the hundreds, if not thousands every year. Those events simply don't match our "get guns out of every home" point of view, so the liberal press never reports it. Two indisputable examples. Two examples which cannot be seriously challenged by those who believe as you do. I could think of many more. But those popped to the top of my head first. Oh yeah, abortion is another obvious one.
