I was going to ask the same question.

When they go this far and make such a big deal over it, it's normally a close shut, knock dead case.

Obviously, they've been putting this one together for years now. So I'd imagine it's probably over for Tony for a few years.

I know he has a wife and kids. Hope they are taken care of and not being put through hell.

Conviction rate statistics for RICO vary, but only within a narrow range: 88-98%

John Gotti comes to mind. He walked away completely clean from his RICO case in '86. Several years later, the Feds tried RICO again and the charges stuck.
