Charleymane,

In the future, if you could indicate that the material is not your own words, I'd appreciate it.

The rant started off badly. "Strategery" is not a word in any dictionary I can find. The rest of the article was equally dissembling.....

The empty threats the article make are typical of the arrogant and dishonest right. I do grow weary of being lied to.

"In the event that Vice President Cheney and FBI Director Mueller are right, it may well be the most breathtakingly stupid strategy ever. "

Everyone hopes they are right. If it turned out that way, keys to the city are in order. Not likely.
As far as Democratic "strategy", what this writer hopes to ignore is the idea of "truth" as a worthwhile "strategy". Doesn't even enter his thinking. That tells you something right away, before getting into the rest of it.

"When and if the next attack comes, the reaction of the American electorate will be nuclear. "

Yes, heads will roll, whether the administration likes it or not. It will be further proof of failure to protect Americans.

"the Democrats are embarking down a road that leaves them one terrorist attack away from political disaster"

Any attack is a political disaster for this country. It is not a "Democrat" disaster, you friggin' jerk, nor is it a "Republican" disaster. It is an "American" disaster, assh*le. You attempt to politicize this beyond imagination, with glee, almost. Sick.

"The chances that New York City will be hit again in the next year are probably better than 50-50"

Is that your considered opinion?
Do you have a secret pipeline to Osama?
What kind of crap is this? Who is this guy shilling for?

It better be under cover of blog, because it's heavy-handed threats w/o redeeming social value of any sort.
