unfortunately ... many of us ... that get 'stuck' don't mind holding forever ... as they turn into longs that 2 to 3 years down the road will be ok ... but the problem I see ... is the fact that the portfolio was 'supposed' to be for a trading vehicle ...

Trading and investing are two different animals that somehow have become one in too many cases ...

I would vote for a mandatory exit/loss of 25% taken on ALL stocks that we buy / hold / have erred on entry

cause 9 times out of 10 ... we can re-enter even lower
