There were hearings back in January that looked into Fischer's past. He skated, but he really shouldn't have. They had old news footage that showed him kicking the crap out of a cop who was down in the street, but they excused that as an excess of youth. And they claimed they couldn't prove a tangible connection with Carlos the Jackal, only that he let Carlos hide guns in his house. In this country that makes you a co-conspirator....
