Your a-d and u-d lines look similar to the 55-day TRIN for the NYSE. The 55-day TRIN has been rising since November which is not what one would expect. It's all due to the advance/decline issues ratio being consistently greater than 1 and the up/down volume ratio being consistently less than 1. I know some are claiming the TRIN-55 is pointing to a IT bottom, but you should get both a/d and u/d approaching oversold at the bottom.
