Kashmir should never be allowed to fall into the hands of extreme fundamentalist Islam period . The fascist form of Islam these fellows are following is a plague upon free worship of life , and liberty of the people , especially the simple lovely struggling women of Kashmir. For upwards of two thousand years, Kashmir has been the home of Sanskrit learning and from this small valley have issued masterpieces of history, poetry, romance, fable, and philosophy. Kashmiries are justly proud of the literary glories of their land. For centuries Kashmir was the house of the greatest Sanskrit scholars, and at least one great Indian religion of 'Shaivism' has found some of its most eloquent teachers on the banks of the Vitasta. Some of the greatest Sanskrit scholars and poets were born, and wrote in the valley and from it has issued in Sanskrit language a world famous collection of folk-lore. Kashmir was always India , and simple people could live in peace , but for "bad religion " in the hands of fanatics. It is very possible that the innocent common folk of that region of either Hindu or Islamic faiths can live in peace , but under no circumstances should Kashmir fall into the hands of these mad, warped religious terrorists , and their violence and chauvinistic ignorant religious fascism. Islam's robber/thief/brigands rode in with the swords drawn some centuries ago , and now their way of life is facing further disintegration and erosion rather than integration and the richness of peace and democracy...such is the weakness of Islam , an atrophied religion that cannot adapt to the 20th century , let alone the 21rst century. Ironic to me that India faces to hostile forces to her northern borders ....one is professed as absolutely godless thru it's leaders & body politic , that is China . The other is Pakistan , where they speak and act for God fanatically all the time ....but that kind of fundamentalism is Godless too. Kashmir is India , and not Pakistan ...and once Pakistan was India too. For centuries Islam was spread by the sword and coercions and force . The world finally changes and so does Allah ...but I think Allah was a Hindu first, the followers of Mohammed just haven't figured that out.<G> And where is Islam's/Pakistan's Mahatama ? Is such a religion of peace that worships a God of infinite mercy even capable now of producing one ? Or is their "faith" that small and knows only the sword and murder and vicious sneak attack ? Now that the violence of the sword cannot go unnoticed , or people once forced to convert by threat of violence and omnipotent dictators , Islam is a religion under the scrutiny of the entire world in real time ...and Allah is watching too what they do. Kashmir is India , not China or Pakistan . Don't ever forget that. If just for the sake of the women of Kashmir , it must remain under Indian control and not ever fall into the hands of these Islamic fanatics. One of those women stranded there ,under the threat now of that violent fanatical plague, could have been your mother . know the truth , and it will set you free. peace. Mars

To vote and to express your will is a very special gift for special people, I don't think Kashmir is special and I don't think that the right that we are all proud off to express ourselves and we all take distinction of being great democracies rarely every works when such a vote brings the nation apart. I think Kashmir should look towards their own indigenous problems and try to resolve them we cannot sacrifice our kids for their vote, period, nations are born free or slave, we won our independence and they should win it without expecting too much from us, the chapter has to stop and their rights can only be given by a democratic India, if they deny it we can't help it. Period. We cannot use nukes to get them vote, finish, we have to move on, and the greatest democracy in the world will have to keep working on how to work it out, world watched the attitude of Pakistani that is despicable but will not ignore denial of basic human right of vote, once all this is over, Islamic nations have acted unreasonably so far in global relationships in my opinion much as we all collective condemn Pakistan their continuous good mannerism to the chagrin of Indians will make them a better player in global diplomacy from a pariah state to a frontline state in tackling global Islamic militancy is a great responsibility with all that will come honour and greater prosperity and that is the key to move forward for our very very poor people, we need to do better..
