Wouldn't that merely shift demand for labor back to the US? Wage inflation overseas would just raise import prices, not wages here necessarily. In any case, I don't see how wage inflation can occur in the context of high unemployment. What bargaining leverage would unions or individual workers have in this context? There will always be high-demand professions, but I mean in aggregate.

This durable goods number should be good opportunity for us to gauge the strength of the Bulls. Pretty wimpy so far but it's still early........
