This article points out the inevitable leaking of security information when government goes public in these hearings. They've decided to not allow the pilots to carry a firearm on the plane. Now we know.....and so does a terrorist. They were still giving free tours of LA Harbor, with some pretty detailed commentary until last week. The papers also happily announced that the Nat. Guard was being replaced at airports and bridges, not a really necessary piece of information nor valuable in any way to the average citizen.

The worst thing about the WTC is that it concentrated all the horror in one place. 100 incidents around the country that averaged 28 deaths would have brought the message home and concentrated our observations on the task at hand rather than the blame game in Washington.
