Times are getting tough

Prostitute arrested for charging too little

A prostitute has been arrested in Italy for charging her customers too little.

Police claim Monica Isa has broken the country's competition laws by trying to force other call girls in Turin out of business.

The 24-year-old had cut her normal service fee from 35 euros to 5 euros, the equivalent of £3.20.

Tgcom website reports she has been remanded in custody and will face charges in court of fraudulently lowering prices in a public trade market and unfair competition.

Under Italian law, it is an offence to cut prices with the intention of forcing competitors out of business.
