this area is right near her apartment... It was "about four miles" from her apartment, according to Reuters. Rock Creek Park is one of the largest urban parks in the world, and it is heavily wooded with hills and ravines and underbrush in many places. The fact that they found clothes and running shoes is strange (those would be easier to see one would think), but I would not draw too much in the way of conclusions from what has been reported so far.

You can bet they'll be scouring the remains and the surrounding area for links to Condit... I have to wonder how come they missed that area before, this area is right near her apartment... I thought the police went through that area several times already... how did they miss it? Unless the body wasn't there when they first searched but was dug up from it's original hiding place and moved to that location more recently after things cooled down, probably some time after September 11th... this is my hunch......>>>>> Not a chance.....that guy is scott free....hell people were even voting to reelect him
