The threat of being caught & embarrassed keeps those on the sensible side of the edge--clean. Can you imagine how many more Americans would have fried brains if there was no negative risk involved with drug use? You learn as a child not to touch the hot stove by your mothers slap on the hand. That's human nature.....we learn by the consequences of our actions. Treating every drug addict as a victim is not the solution to the problem. Every individual must learn to be responsible for their own actions. If their parents neglect to teach this important lesson in life.....eventually society will do it for them.
