They went "trolling for sleeze in '92" and hooked a sexual predator, rapist, and oath breaker.

$80 million wouldn't have been spent if Clinton had honored his marriage or office (any of them). There wouldn't have been witnesses to badger either.

Or are you so far gone to think Clinton was innocent?

Do you really think Broadrick was lying?

"Time for Democrats to do likewise now."

More proof that elections mean more to the dem's leaders (and their sycophants like you) than American lives.

Looking forward to the fall.

res-<<I think a seven-year, $80-million investigation, complete with bulldog special prosecutors who badger witnesses, is what this country needs right now.

Republicans went trolling for sleaze in '92. Time for Democrats to do likewise now. >>>

Even if you firmly believed this was true, which I sincerely doubt. Equating what a nation needs in a time of war, vs a time of peace, is simply wrong. Had we been attacked while Clinton was in office, I would have gotten behind him as the commander in chief and looked for ways to support his actions. As those actions bore fruit, positively or negatively, I would have applauded the effort, or criticized it.

The problem with Democrats today is they are hell-bent on criticizing Bush even while his strategy is doing better then the pundits expected. We took the war to the enemy, and contrary to popular belief, took apart the enemy in their own backyard. We've destabilized their centers of power, and rid them of a homeland. They are now on the run, and the freedom loving values of the civilized world are starting to take root in a place torn apart by fanatics for far too long.

When will you rabid partisan Democrats supporters get it. Our nation is at war, we've been attacked. Good men are dying in the battlefield in order to prevent the enemy from attacking again.

This is not a time for political mudslinging, or for scoring cheap points under the banner of the Democrat power grabing cause. It's a time for caring citizens to rise up as one, and get behind our leadership, while they search for ways to rid ourselves of this menace to our way of life.

There will be a time once again for the "Clintonized" style of attack dog politicking to come back in vogue. But that time has not yet arrived.
