Your defense of Castro and Saddam against the world leader whom you REALLY hate is notable, though not, in any way, admirable.

It does, however, define you completely...

Well, during the previous Administration; the U.S. was probably bombing Iraq, and buying Iraqi oil at the same time. There were a number of times (between 1992 and 2001) that Allied aircraft or American cruise missiles bombed Iraqi sites. At least once, President Clinton ordered the movement of a number of American land forces to the Middle East to force the Iraqis back in line ("planned invasion"?). Like I said, I do not think that buying Iraqi oil was necessarily bad during the Clinton Administration, or the current one.

The United States does not support, Saddam's support of terrorists. Not now, and not three years ago. We buy their oil; to show the world that the United States and the arms embargo is not responsible for the mass starvation of the Iraqi people.

<<Clinton went along with the UN resolution that allowed Saddam to sell oil for food and medicine.>>

And allowed the weapons inspectors to be kicked out.
